working with me
Counselling Your Way
I work collaboratively using various counselling techniques so that you get the most out of our time together towards healing and reaching your goals. It is a profound privilege to work with people in this way.
I welcome people of any culture, religion, ability, sexuality, and gender.
Our conversations and work together will allow you to explore the issue troubling you and discuss how you want things to be different.
Together, we will work towards gaining clarity and insight into your thoughts and feelings, identifying, and working with negative patterns and beliefs that limit you.
The issues you bring may be relatively straightforward or complex short or long-term.
What You Can Expect
Seeking counselling can be a difficult and sometimes scary decision. I will provide a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and emotions, which might include a belly laugh or two. We will check in to ensure we stay on track and move closer to your desired outcomes.
If we feel it is valid, I may send a summary of crucial conversations via email to serve as a reminder from time to time or links to resources at no extra cost.
as a result of us working together:
I hope you feel deeply heard, energised, and empowered with new insights, understandings and strategies. I hope you feel and think 'bigger' with the ability to choose what action to take and have the resources to do that.
